Business English - Social Interaction Skills

Social skills are critical for everyday interaction in today's workplace. At EF, students are able to practice their business social skills through various exercises including personal one-on-one discussion, phone calls, writing professional documents, conducting meetings and greeting clients. By encouraging students to use only English to complete these exercises, students gain the confidence and fluency necessary to succeed in business.

Business English - Collaboration/Negotiation Skills

EF's business curriculum provides students with clear and practical knowledge to improve their collaboration skills and work effectively with colleagues and clients. Courses include how to interact with clients, introduce oneself and one's company in professional settings and work in groups or pairs on projects. EF also offers instruction on how to write professional letters and emails and how to conduct business phone calls and conference calls.

Business English - Leadership and Management Skills

The leadership and management classes are designed with today and tomorrow's business professional in mind to improve EF students' abilities to effectively communicate in business situations. The comprehensive curriculum provides students with a strong business background and affords students the opportunity to take the lead and manage real business problems. Through the courses, interactive activities and guidance from EF teachers, EF students gain the confidence and fluency necessary to apply their newfound communication skills to real business situations and become a leader in the workplace.

- Interview tips/What an interviewer looks for
- Office Survival English
- How to write correct, professional emails

24 Hour Online Course Improves Student's Overall Business English Learning

The small discussion groups formed on EF's innovative 24-hour online English learning system provide students with an opportunity to discuss a wide-range of topics that cover business, finance, travel, social, culture as well as many other situational conversation settings. Three or four days each week, students can engage in lively debate about important and timely topics selected by EF teachers. The one-to-one instruction format provides students with flexibility -- students can discuss the topic provided by EF or pick a topic of their own choosing. EF's online teachers use the most advanced teaching materials to plan lessons and accelerate each student's learning and retention of Business English.
